Surprise water damage behind some kitchen cabinets caused homeowners of this Florida condo to rethink their entire unit. During the design process we explored keeping the existing kitchen separate from the great room and lanai but the opportunity of providing a more open plan was too much to pass up. The ‘indoor-outdoor’ flow of the space resulted in a truly magnificent layout, melding the kitchen, eating area, great room and lanai into one. The expansive sliding doors of the lanai further expand the space onto the sprawling deck overlooking the golf course.
